Introduction:Indiana Jones is back in a brand new game that feels like a sequel to the movies. You join Indy as he is trying to wrest control of an ancient Chinese artifact from his old friends, the Nazis. To do this you will have to whip, fight, shoot, and think your way through the games many levels.

The Game:Good movie turned games are few and far between. Fortunately this is one that will not disappoint. The game plays like a mix between Buffy and Tomb Raider. While Indy may not have all the fancy moves of those other two, he more than makes up for it in his equipment.

You get to use just about everything in the environment to your advantage, from table legs to shovels. Indy also acquires some useful tools along the way; pistols, machetes, shotguns, and of course his trusty whip to name a few.

The moves you use to control Indy are fluid and the game controls wonderfully. The camera is fully adjustable and rarely, if ever, gets in your way.

One of my few gripes with the game is that there are some bugs, while they rarely occur, they occur enough to notice. Most of the time the bugs are minor, like clipping into walls, but sometimes they are severe, like getting stuck in objects. Another small gripe is the fact that when you fall from almost any height you take damage, not much usually, but it is still annoying.

Graphics & Sound:The game has some decent visuals for the Box, maybe not the best, but definitely not the worse. The only problems are with some clipping as mentioned before, and some slight slowdown when multiple enemies are on screen.

The music is below average. Even with the famous Indy soundtrack the music is ho-hum. As with many games the music picks up as danger is about, but the rest of the time it is rather dull. The voice acting however is top notch. They really got someone who sounds like Indiana to play him.

Mojo:Man I really like this game. Despite it’s small flaws I was instantly addicted to it. You will find yourself loving the many battles with all the ways you can dispatch your foes. I really loved how you can whip weapons out of your enemies hands, or grab the enemies with your whip and pull them to you. Plus it is another chapter in the book of Indiana Jones, and it is one that deserves the spotlight.

Lowdown:If you are an Indiana Jones fan then do yourself a favor and go get this game right now. The game is very reminiscent of Tomb Raider with more emphasis placed on fighting and less puzzle work. If you are trying to find all the hidden items, the game will take you about 20 hours to beat on easy. So if you are looking for a great game to hold you over until the next-gen Tomb Raider then go get this bad boy.
