UFC 2010 Details

|Update: UFC Undisputed 2010| THQ and Zuffa announced the first gameplay details surrounding UFC Undisputed 2010, the follow-up to the critically and commercially acclaimed debut videogame based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Poised to deliver intelligent and intuitive combat, increased fighter customization, robust career progression, challenging new gameplay modes and explosive online offerings, UFC Undisputed 2010 is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system versions are scheduled for release on May 25, 2010, while the PSP system version is scheduled for release later this year.
In addition, current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be featured on the cover of UFC Undisputed 2010. A mixed martial artist, as well as a former professional and amateur wrestler, Lesnar made his UFC debut during UFC 81: Breaking Point against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir. He went on win the UFC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Randy Couture at UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar, held on November 15, 2008, and has retained the Championship since that time. Lesnar is tentatively slated to return to the Octagon in 2010.

This Weeks Games (Feb 8th-12th)

|Update| February is starting to rival last months list of great releases. This week (Feb 8th-12th) we have some heavy hitters with Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno. Plus, RPG fans will be happy to see that Star Ocean: The Last Hope finds itself ported to the Playstation 3. Aside from these stand out titles we have a whole pile of Wii and DS games including some Twilight business (huh?!). Aren't vampires like totally last year? |Update:PSN| Kicking off the Superbowl Weekend is a nice price drop in Madden NFL Arcade, it's the perfect game to throw in before Sunday. The sale is only temporary, so act fast. Half-Minute Hero price has also been slashed, this one permanently. Other than that I would check out some of the demo demos on the wire like Aliens vs. Predator, or Battlefield Bad Comapny 2.

|Update: DLC| Capcom wants us all to head back into the void as they announce All-new Dark Void Downloadable Content will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 starting next week! In the Survivor Missions, relive key events from Dark Void as you battle waves of increasingly difficult enemy troops. Rack up massive points with score multipliers for headshots, and hijack enemy aircrafts. Fight back against the alien armada! But never forget what matters most: Survival!
Arcade-esque DLC
The new DLC will be an arcade-esque experience where the player battles through hoards of enemies on the ground and in the air while collecting points and upgrading weaponry, with the goal being to survive to Round 10 and increase their previous high score. Xbox users will be able to download this content beginning on February 10th, 2010 for 400 points ($5.00) and PS3 users on February 11th for $4.99.

Not only are we giving you downloadable content next week but we are also unveiling the Dark Void Soundtrack! This original Soundtrack features 80 minutes of score hand-picked by McCreary. It also includes a special bonus track, "Theme from Dark Void (Mega Version)," an 8-bit rendering of the main theme written and produced by McCreary for Capcom's just shipped downloadable DSiWare title, Dark Void Zero. Sumthing Else Music Works will be releasing the soundtracks for Dark Void, available (on CD and digitally) and Dark Void Zero available (digitally) on February 9th.

The Saints Come Matching In?
Date: Feb 03 EA SPORTS Predicts New Orleans Saints Defeat Indianapolis Colts, 35-31, at Super Bowl XLIV via Madden NFL 10. |
|Update| Who Dat! The New Orleans Saints pull the upset and march to a victory over the Indianapolis Colts with a score of 35-31 at Super Bowl XLIV, according to the official Electronic Arts simulation run by the award-winning Madden NFL 10 on Xbox 360.
The first three quarters display the offensive fireworks that both teams have become known for, with the Colts leading 24-21. A nail biting fourth quarter begins with a big play, courtesy of the Saints’ special teams, when Reggie Bush returns a punt for a 42-yard touchdown. However, with minutes left in the game the duo of Joseph Addai and Peyton Manning put the Colts back on top with a go-ahead touchdown pass. With the game hanging in the balance, Drew Brees hits David Thomas for an 11-yard touchdown and the game winning score. Drew Brees takes home MVP honors as the Saints earn their first Super Bowl Championship title in franchises 46 year history.
Utilizing each team’s current roster and the latest player statistics, Madden NFL 10 was able to accurately predict the outcome of both the NFC and AFC Championship games within a margin of three points for each game. EA SPORTS utilized this same simulation formula to predict the outcome of Super Bowl XLIII (Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Arizona Cardinals) with unprecedented accuracy – down to the final score and individual player statistics. EA SPORTS has correctly predicted the Super Bowl winner for 5 out of the last 6 years, since the official Madden NFL Super Bowl simulation began in 2004.
Game with FAME
Super Bowl XLIV kicks off Sunday, February 7 in South Florida, and as a part of the Super Bowl week festivities, Xbox 360 and EA SPORTS will give Madden fans at home a rare opportunity to participate in the electrifying action. On Thursday, February 4 Cincinnati Bengals’ Chad Ochocinco, self- proclaimed King of Madden (gamertag: Ochocinco MBGwF) will face off against fans on Madden NFL 10 as part of the latest Xbox LIVE online entertainment network Game with Fame session. |Update| THQ have announced that UFC 2009 Undisputed, has achieved “Platinum Hits” status in North America for the Xbox 360-- as well as joined Sony’s “Greatest Hits” collection in North America for the PlayStation 3. Having shipped more than 3.5 million units worldwide to date, both versions of the videogame originally launched on May 19, 2009 and are now available for the suggested retail price of $29.99 (great deal).

Bioshock 2 On Fallon

|Press Release| 2K Games announced today its nationwide Return to Rapture with midnight openings celebrating the launch of the eagerly awaited BioShock 2, the shocking sequel to the 2007 Game of the Year.
