Punt chickens, get funky in bed, chop off heads, sacrifice your spouse, become a drunk or be that valiant hero. Fable has it all and you choose your own path to follow. |

Halo 2 was the best shooter in 2004, no surprises there. Halo 2 is one of the best first person shooters to appear on any format and become the biggest selling game of all time. Running behind Halo 2 was Pandemic's superb effort with their multiplayer game in a galaxy far away. It's been a great year FPS fans across the board. |

The Xbox is being pushed beyond what anyone expected and the quality level of the graphics have been up 'd by every developer. No one can deny that Tecmo's Team Ninja is a step above the rest and they have captured our best graphics category two years in a row. Ninja Gaiden is a sight to behold and gives us a felling of awe like the first time we seen DOA3 running back in 2001. |

Best Sound in a Game

The sound category is a tricky one especially when the developers are finally putting more emphasis on using surround sound to enhanced the gaming experience. It was a close pick, but the Bungie team came out on top with their excellent and believable soundscape for Halo 2. |

X-Box Live is in more homes than ever and if there wasn't a game before that made you want to be online, Halo 2 will change your mind. Halo 2 is a perfect example of how to integrate Xbox Live into a game and the internet. Halo 2 is as popular in multiplayer as single player and needs to experienced on live to fully appreciate the masterpiece Bungie has created. |

The mojo meter went off the hook this year with many mojo laden games. In many aspects the mojo benefits from free will and following the good-cop/bad-cop action of last years winner is the good, bad mojo of Fable. No other games lets you stumble around drunk and behead anyone who crosses your path. Kudos to everyone involved in the project, Fable rocks. |
