Introduction:Hop in the drivers seat and take a whirl in Sega GT 2002. It's an amazing game that puts you right in the action from the start. It has a lot of different game modes with mass cars to choose from to keep you occupied for hours on end!

Downtown Jimmy's Lowdown:I just recently got my hands on a copy of SegaGT2002 and i was pleasantly surprised. This game surpassed my expectations of what it was going to be like. Its a cross between Grand Turismo for the Sony and Proj. Gotham on the Xbox. You can customize and mod up your car and compete in a number of race circuits. The game also works with a Licensing grading scale where the level increases in difficultly every time you get a licence. I loved all the compact cars to the old muscle cars and then a nice surprise in the Super Car Event which featured various concept cars that never fully made it in to production.

This is my favorite racing game for the Xbox. You will spend hours filling up your garage with all your favorite dream cars and then let them go burning down the track.

Jive Turkey's Lowdown:Sega GT's story mode rocks. But, its not for you timid drivers! Be prepared to race your butt of to get anywhere! The game has a lot of facets to it that you will keep discovering. Upgrading your car, wearing out old parts, trying to win money and free cars to build your collection! It's all in the game! You won't be disappointed.

Chronicle mode lets you discover the cars of the different times and race throughout the years with your car as you win points to help build your car up to snuff! Intense racing and action keep the game moving!

The only problem I found with this game is that it is just a car racing game! In that sense it can never be too innovative. But, this game has so many features that other car games can't even dream of! In that sense it is separated from all the competition.

In the graphics and sound area the sound was just ok. In the story and chronicle mode I couldn't get my own music to come up no matter what I tried. However, in the other modes it seemed to come up ok. The car noises were good and all the effects were pretty intense. Another shortcoming of this game was that the car's don't seem to show any damage on them. All you have is the damage indicator on the side of the screen. That is a little cheesy considering all the games that have come before it!

Overall this game rocks! Despite a few shortcomings this is a definite must for anyone who likes driving games. The controls are good and the car realism is good! I would say pick this puppy up and put on your driving gloves! Its time for some intense action!
