|PR:SEGA| SEGA announced they will bring Marvels hall-of-fame franchise Thor to video game systems for an epic third-person adventure: Thor: The Video Game, scheduled for release on all five major video game platforms in 2011.
About The Game
Thor: The Video Game will take players through a spectacular, epic-scale original third-person adventure for which Matt Fraction, the Eisner Award-winning writer and lead Thor comic book author served as story consultant. In the game, Thor battles through the numerous worlds of Norse mythology that span realms ranging from primal worlds of fire and ice to extraordinary planets inhabited by Frost Giants and Trolls to save Asgard, the capital city of the Norse Gods. Thor must overcome monstrous foes lifted from the pages of the comics including Ulik, Ymir, and Surtur, as well as other monstrous denizens. Players will wield the iconic Mjφlnir, Thors legendary hammer, to fight enemies on an immense scale while controlling the elemental storm powers of lightning, thunder, and wind to vanquish enemies. As Thor earns Valor points through his exploits, players can acquire new abilities, powers, and weapon upgrades.
Don't Forget the Wii
The Wii game will feature the same overarching storyline as the next-gen consoles, but will also present a different gaming experience by utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to battle enemies and deliver Thors elemental powers. Thor for the Wii version will also be presented with a uniquely styled comic book look that it will share with the PSP system version, along with different cinematics, story elements, dialog, locations, and dedicated flight levels. Nintendo DS players will experience a 2D side-scrolling adventure with narrative and gameplay unique to the platform.

Known as ZettaiHero Keikakuin Japan, Z.H.P. is the only turn based strategy RPG that allows you to create your own, one and only super hero to fight vicious(?) villains. Players can create a super hero literally from head to toe. If you wish to use drills instead of hands or wheels instead of legs you can do so by simply swapping out your body parts. Battle maps are all randomly generated for mad replay value and there are tons of character and secret base customization. Z.H.P. gives you the chance to relive your childhood fantasy of making your own superhero and superhero base.
CLADUN: THIS IS AN RPG (Playstation Portable)
Cladunis a retro style dungeon crawler game. Players can create their own main character from scratch using a graphics editor and the dungeons that you will be adventuring in are randomly created for infinite replay value. You can even explore the dungeons with your friends, using the ad-hoc feature of the PSP.

PSN Video Delivery in Canada

|PR:SCEC| Canada gets a little love with 'Sony Computer Entertainment Canada' (SCEC) news that they have expanded their entertainment content by offering PlayStation Network video delivery service to Canadian customers in English and French languages. This allows members to purchase or rent movies and purchase TV shows, including the latest new releases, straight to either device.
More than 1,000 movies and TV shows will be available in High-Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD), with movies available to rent from CA$3.99, movies to purchase from CA$9.99, and TV shows to purchase from CA$1.99. The movies are from major studios, distributors and content providers including 20th Century Fox, Alliance Films, E1 Entertainment, Maple Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM), National Film Board of Canada, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Starz Digital Media, Universal Pictures, and The Walt Disney Studios. TV shows will be available from
Major cable networks and studios including 20th Century Fox, HBO, Marvel, MTV Networks, NBC Universal, NHL, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and Starz Digital Media.
The video delivery service is fully integrated within PlayStation Network, using existing PlayStation Network log-in information and wallet system details. Customers can search for movies and TV shows by name, or can browse categories such as New releases and Movies. The PS3 systems progressive downloading allows viewers to start watching a selection shortly after the download begins. They can also access certain games or other content on the PS3 system while the download is taking place.

PS3 Firmware Upgrade 3.40

|Update| SCEA has given word that the Playstation 3 software update (v3.40) will be online soon (sometime today.) This update will add the PlayStation Plus subscription service package and other enhancements to the connection between users PlayStation Network and Facebook accounts and other new features. Additionally, system software update (v6.30) for the PSP system will launch simultaneously with PS3 system software update (v3.40), adding PlayStation Plus compatibility as well as other minor features.
